The infamous Corsica Studios in South London is celebrating its 10 year anniversary this autumn, coinciding with one of its most prolific nights, Tief, rejoicing one year since its debut last September. And they’re going all out for it.
The Tief first anniversary, on the 28th September, is going bigger and better than anything it’s previously provided, and that’s saying something. They’ve got an outstanding line-up, with people such as Omar S, Daniel Wang, Bicep, Mano Le Tough, Portable and Casino Times, just to scratch the top of the iceberg. And to accommodate all these great billings, Corsica Studios are extending the venue into the Columbian bar next door, to create a third room for the event.
From its very beginning, Tief has proven itself as a prestigious platform for some of the greatest electronic music of the moment. At each of Tief’s previous nights Corsica Studios has been filled to capacity, with its crowds and its reputation growing exponentially as time has gone by. You can always be sure that you will find yourself amongst passionate music lovers, creating a uniquely charged atmosphere, found in only a few places across the country.
In Room 1, people will be treated to a vinyl spinning set, of fist pumping, feet stomping, pure, unembellished house from the Bicep boys, leading onto a special back to back set from Brawther and Jeremy Underground, followed by the brilliant Omar S, flying in from Detroit, to spoil us with raw unadulterated melodies going on into the early hours.
Room 2 has a lot up its sleeve with a live set from the atmospheric and heady Portable, aka Bodycode, bringing a little piece of Berlin straight to the heart of London. This will be followed by a man who has been making a lot of noise this year, Mano Le Tough. This room will also feature one of Tief’s favourite residents, Hesseltime. And on top of that, the main man from Troublevision, Mr Solid Gold will be warming the room up, doing what he does best.
As for the added extra, Room 3, you will be treated to a special vibe of disco infused dance floor centric sets from the remarkable Daniel Wang, Hunee, Casino Times and Wolf Music label bosses Matt Neale and Stu Clark.
Not only will the party be bigger, but it will be longer. They have pushed for an extra few hours, just ensure that everyone has the time to truly experience each room throughout the night and into the morning. You can be sure that as people emerge into the light of day, there will be a buzz in the air, and Tief will be the word on people’s lips for a long time to come.
The tickets have been flying off the shelf for this since its announcement, and they have already reached the fourth and final release. So don’t wait around until the last minute, as it’s likely to be too little too late.
