Snowbombing is an annual dance music festival held in Austria. The event embraces an impressive line up of international artists , including, Dizzee Rascal, The Prodigy, Stanton Warriors, Shy FX, Loadstar, One Man, Skream, Friction, Chase and Status, Breakage, plus a lot more. The setting is simply breath taking, lined with beautiful alpine tress, crisp snow piste and mountain scenery, it’s a perfect chalet holiday in Austria. The venues themselves are unique, with world class sound systems and stage production. The first party venue is set in the middle of the Eristoff Forest, where theres a massive stadium size video screen and wide stage area. Check out the Artic Disco where you can enjoy two dances arena’s, a chill out section with three cool bars and an outside area with fires, perfect for star gazing. The street party is always a road block affair, with the whole town partying along the main strip. Laced with Funktion One sound systems and pop up bars, set among traditional style wooden structures. Hearing the heaviest Drum and Bass records and Dubstep bass lines, high up amongst the clouds is an experience that cant be matched anywhere else in the world.
The Racket Club (underground tennis centre) opens its door’s to over 2000 snowbombers, with a colossal sound system and giant dance floor, raving has never been so good. The other venues consist of mountain stages and stylish clubs and arena’s. Ski holidays in Austria don’t come cooler than this, allowing users entry to the Hintertux Glacier and Vans Penken Park, with nearly 700km of piste for you to enjoy. For beginners theres the option of booking private lessons, which have proven to be a popular way to learn the art of the slopes. No one does mountain raving like the Austrians.
