Celebrating the last show of the summer… Circus London at The Egg will be hosting a marathon event at the end of the month to really see the night off with a bang. As Circus in Liverpool is weeks away from holding a strong 10 year residency, there is fun and happiness in the air and the people turning the cogs backstage couldn’t possibly host a mediocre night! In true Liverpool fashion, August 31st sees the capital night get fully dolled up in its best frock and fake eyelashes for the biggest event of the summer. Watch out London, it’s going to be fierce.
Headlining the event is the incredible Yousef, who over the last 10 years has become a part of the furniture for Circus! He’s had a fantastic year with his fingers in quite a few pies, and he still has lots of exciting things to come. The release of his album ‘A product of your Environment’ is due to be released this autumn, which is already receiving huge support from Loco Dice, Magda and Carl Cox. He is a huge name in the tech house industry and is nowhere near ready to pull on the reins yet. This man is quite happy in his trot to the top!
Joining him on this dandy ride in the park, is the wonderfully talented Cocoon stalwart Dinky. The Chilean DJ spent her younger years learning from the best electronic music experimentalists Luciano and Ricardo Vilalobos in her native country before setting sail on her own journey of discovery. Dinky has had an impressive career and now chooses to spend her time doing a few small time gigs like Amnesia, Cocoon, Privilege, DC10 and Panorama Bar. I’m joking. She’s remarkably talented and will certainly bring a deep, minimal, underground vibe to The Egg in London.
Matthew Styles completes the thoroughly exciting and enticing bill, expect to hear big things from this hot Berlin DJ who has tracks out on Crosstown Rebels and Horizontal labels.
