It has been announced that Saturday day tickets are now gone on sale for this year’s Global Gathering festival, along with the release of the eagerly awaited day line ups! Both days are going to be equally as spectacular and Global Gathering have had a job on their hands working out who to put where to ensure there’s no substantial clashes. Friday sees the chart topping Brit super star Tinie Tempah take his rightful place on the Main stage playing to thousands, With support from the god of electro Afrojack, along with Maverick Sabre, Dot Rotten and Micky Slim ft Majestic.
Armin Van Buuren will be hosting his world class radio show, A State of Trance, live from the festival… A first for Global Gathering, the show will be broadcast live to millions of listeners all over the world so if you can’t make it… definitely tune in! The Visionquest tent is going to be going off on the Friday night! The 4 lads who make up Visionquest (Seth Troxler, Shaun Reeves, Lee Curtiss, Ryan Crosson) are legends in themselves, so who knows whats going to happen when they are joined by Canadian duo Art Department, Davide Squillace and Lewis Boardman.
The biggest arena on site, UKF Bass Culture, will be bringing large quantitys of bass from start to finish. The man who everyone wants to work with at the moment, Skrillex, returns to Global Gathering following a breakthrough set that was a huge hit at last years festival. Andy C, Jaguar Skills and Knife Party have also been booked to keep the basslines pumping!
Saturday see’s Chase & Status, Friendly Fires and Labrinth headline the main stage. A line up that has something for everyone. While the Global arena is set to be a big one too, with the likes of Jamie Jones, Joris Voorn & Nic Fanciulli, Maceo Plex, Maya Jane Coles, Heidi and Eats Everything all under one roof! Not forgetting very special guest Sasha.

This year Global Gathering has pushed the boat out… or maybe boat isn’t the right word. Following the success of 2011’s VIP area, Global have decided to take the experience to a whole new level. 2012’s audiovisual playground will see a plane crash site theme that goes hand in hand with Long Marston Airfield’s aeronautical heritage. Next to the VIP campsite and entered through a tunnel of windsocks, the VIP Fields are a place to relax in the graffiti covered cargo boxes, cockpit of a plane and cargo net tests. Next to this truly unique landscape, there will be a VIP woods, an enchanted forest that comes alive at night complete with exclusive DJ’s, a chill out area and fairy lit tress… It all quite frankly sounds a little too fantastic!!
