After  consecutive and successive posts about a certain South London brotherly duo across our social media outlets over the past couple of months, i’m sure it comes as no surprise to anybody that we are eventually giving these lads some much deserved love on our flagship platform, right here, right now, at GBC Mag!

Guy and Howard Lawrence aka Disclosure are without a doubt the hottest property in the world of electronic music right now, and have been tipped to reach this position ever since last Summer when they released their initial EP for free on their Facebook page and were catapulted into the spotlight. Thanks to their innovative cross breed amalgamation of  bouncy 2-step garage and deep bass-laced  house the youngsters from Redhill have experienced a meteoric rise and have become somewhat of a powerhouse in the scene.

Set to release their second EP – The FACE – on June 4th on Greco Roman; Disclosure come backed by a mighty string of accolades that must have them brimming with confidence in their music. Already notching up over 1 million plays online, tracks ‘Boiling‘ and ‘What’s In Your Head‘ have seen huge support from tastemakers Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Nick Grimshaw and Mista Jam, with new track ‘Control’ featured as Zane Lowe’s ‘Hottest Record In The World’ on his BBC Radio 1 show last night. Already drafted in by FACT Mag to deliver one of their hugely respected mixes and recently playing IMS in Ibiza, 2012 has already certainly been one year to remember.

Control’ is the next track taken from the EP and as with Boiling, the guys have stepped to the next level, foregoing sample vocals and instead enlisting Ria Ritchie to deliver a summer garage smash with her R&B tones. Control will come backed by remixes from Joe Goddard and more.
